Blew it!

OK just to update.

Yet again I proved I don't really have the discipline or concentration for this. As usual I managed to make some profit then blew it all in one race because I could take a small red. Frustrating!

As a form of punishment i will make a donation during the charity week.

Week 1 Summary

Profit £31.78 (since last post) Total profit £42.17

Not much action for me or British racing in the last week. I have only traded 17 races in the last week. Although I have managed to take the profit to over £40 now. I have continued to back horses first with most of my stake and it has been quite successful however at least twice I needed to get out of my position in-running. I didn't want this to happen so I have given myself a good telling off and won't let it happen again! The profit for this week did include did include a £5 profit on the Superbowl.

Getting back into blogging on a regular basis is a bit of a challenge but I will try to keep the updates more regular.

£10 Challenge Day 2

Profit £2.81 Total profit £10.39

Not the best day to be trading due to the weather. I tried to trade a few Aussie races in the morning. This was going OK until I missed the off on a pace race. This resulted in a £10 loss. For those of you that don't know most Aussie pace races are not offered in-play. A harsh lesson but a good reminder that luckily didn't cost me my bank. Overall my loss on the Aussie races was about £4. I did trade 3 of the Irish races this afternoon and nearly made £7 hence the small profit.

Not the start I had hoped for but The bank has already been doubled. Not sure I will be trading tomorrow due to work commitments and the weather.

£10 Challenge Day 1

Profit £7.58

Nine races traded today and a reasonable profit. Not that much racing due to the weather so I managed to squeeze a small profit. One major mistake resulted in a £5 loss but recovered from that. One of the difficulties with using such a small bank is the need to use most of it to back on most trades, therefore the bank is often at great risk. Hopefully as the bank grows this will be less of an issue. Today most of my trades were on horses priced between 10 & 20. My mistake was caused by stake taken just before the off and then I was unable to trade out.

Not sure how much trading I will be able to do tomorrow.
